Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 in Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted when she was a kid and started second grade at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in the year 1975. She also competed for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to explore a career as a model. Within a month, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe she lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. However, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion within Europe she decided to pursue acting while in the country. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed receptions.
