Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican-born American who was born and raised within El Paso. Her family is characterized by an entertainment gene. She grew up with a host family like her sibling Karla Martinez, host of the Univision show Despierta America (1997)). (1997)) and family musician and singers. Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in America. SCE has made worker safety and security for the company a top priority. Martinez is in charge of programs and initiatives that are focused on the two specific areas. Martinez helps safety leaders achieve goals for safety in the group by offering mentorship to them and quality safety initiatives. Martinez was previously employed as the director of Safety Training and Compliance at SCE as director for Safety Training and Compliance. Prior to that, he served as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. During the 30 years working at SCE Martinez held a number of positions of leadership in programs that were designed to improve performance as well as corrective actions. These included positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS which focused on protecting the safety of both employees and the public.
